Nissan Used and Pre-Owned Cars
Nissan Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) cars are inspected at our dealerships, and covered by limited warranties and maintenance plans. It’s our way of improving the used car buying process, since each CPO vehicle must be certified before they’re sold.
Types of Certification
Rest assured, our certification processes are extensive. When shopping CPO, you have two choices: Nissan Certified Pre-Owned and Nissan Certified Select. Both ensure you’ll be getting behind the wheel of a safe and dependable vehicle.
Nissan Certified Pre-Owned
Only available on select Nissan models up to 6 years old with less than 120,000 km. Nissan Certified Pre-Owned cars come with:
Nissan Certified Select
Available on select Nissan models that are 7-8 years old with less than 160,000 km. Nissan Certified Select cars come with:

Nissan’s Certified Pre-Owned powertrain warranty1 provides coverage for more than 600 components, and lasts for 72 months or 120,000 km (whichever comes first) from your vehicle’s original in-service date. Also available for Certified Select vehicles in the form of 6-month/10,000 km coverage from the CPO Select contract date2.
A Nissan technician will perform a detailed and thorough review of each used vehicle before it becomes a Nissan Certified Pre-Owned vehicle: a 169-point inspection for Certified Pre-Owned and an 84-point for Certified Select.
Keep your Certified Pre-Owned vehicle newer for longer with a no-charge oil change any time during your first year or 16,000 km of ownership.*
Combine the 600+ components already covered by your powertrain warranty with a Platinum Protection Plan that covers more than 1,900 parts throughout your vehicle – including key electrical components. The plan is also flexible, giving you the option to extend it from 72 months/120,000 km up to 96 months/200,000 km if you wish. For Certified Select, coverage is limited to powertrain warranty; additional mileage and terms are available.
If you run out of gas, get a flat tire or dead battery, we’ve got your back. Roadside assistance covers car rentals for up to 10 days when your vehicle is undergoing a warranty-covered repair, as well as trip interruption benefits and towing assistance.
You can view the Vehicle History Report™ on every Certified Pre-Owned Nissan, giving you full line-of-sight into its service and accident history, liens and other important information.
